I have 260 friends from around the world on my Voyageur List, which is my pool to draw paddlers from for the annual cost-sharing 12-person expeditions I put together. I also have access, as Communications Director, to The Explorers Club Canadian Chapter list. This is the photo report I sent The Explorers Club (it's tweaked up from my own). The bottom line is: if you're going to do the William this year - go, and soon. It's a rock basher, but water levels are as good as you'll get. For example, we had no problems with box canyons in the braiding part. I'm off on the Cree River July 5-18 but I can be reached at jason.schoonover@shaw.ca. Here's the photo report: http://www.jasonschoonover.com/Williamtec.htm

Thanks for the report Captain Magnus! Looks like it was a good trip, despite the hardships. Hope you are having fun on the Cree now.
Cheers,
Bryan
