I'm considering paddling this river during July/Aug 2015 from Schefferville to Kuujjuaq.

I have a basic map with annotations but could use more info on any specific difficulties, things to avoid or things to not miss.

Hello,
My paddling partner and I are considering this river in the coming summer (2016). Did you end up paddling it? Or are you considering it this coming year?

I didn't get there in 2015, it's high on my list for 2016.

I need to find another boat (solo/tandem) to join me as it's more than I feel comfortable doing all on my own.

1989 caribou were plentiful then and the fishing was good
Looks like fun.
recped How long are you going to be on the water?

Although it can be done faster I'd like to spend 30 days.

I'm confident the fishing is still incredible, unfortunately the caribou not so much, the herd is down maybe 90% from the peak in the late 80's

So my canoeing partner is Tom Addicks and he and I may be doing this coming up this summer, (the Swampy Bay). Is this something we should be talking with you about?
