My daughter and I want to do the TukTuk route in ZEC Kipawa this summer. Do you have to book a trip in advance like in the Ontario park system?

You should call the folks at the number on their web site (819 726 2266) I did the Brousse circuit and found the information I received from the phone call very helpful.

Bring cash, the outpost permit station does not do credit cards. I also got an email from the folks at the web site address with the rates clearly stated which helped when I was purchasing my permits. Unfortunately, I don't speak French and the nice lady at the permit station didn't speak English, but the email from the ZEC office was very helpful for both of us.

I had a real nice trip in ZEC Kipawa but found the campsites few and far between Take advantage of the map at the permit station and copy down the campsite locations, a great tripping destination enjoy.

We did a Kipawa trip a few years back. Put in at Red Pine Chute, went N thru McKillop and Regenzie, headed E to Kip river and came back S. For us the highlite was Turner Falls---spectacular!

You might consider a route that lets you come down the kip and see Turner unless your heart is set on the Tuktuk route.

Maybe they got the answer they needed (who to call)?
