Hey, we are group of two Polish guys and and we need your help in choosing the canoe routes :)
In June we organize a two-week trip to Canada in the area of Ontario or Quebec. We are looking for interesting and desolate place, but in this place must be possibility a renting a canoe. So far I was once on a trip in a canoe in Canada and canoening for a week in Algonquin. But this time I would like to see some new places and more desolete.
We are looking for challenges, we have experience in the hardcore backcountry, but we do not want the route whitewater :) Can you recommend a2 week route or maybe two 1 week route?

At least for now I thought about Killarney Provincial Park - a nice but rather popular place. I'm afraid crowd in the park especially because the park is not large. We are from Poland and for sure you have better knowladge where to go :)

You may want to consider Quetico or Wabakimi. You can also view the routes section of this forum for ideas.

Ditto Wabakimi and also Woodland Caribou Provincial Park. Red Lake Outfitters can do complete outfitting for you in Red Lake for a Woodland Caribou trip.

In Quebec check out La Verendrye. There are far fewer people than Killarney and Algonquin and you can rent a canoe and some gear at Le Domaine. They have a minimal selection of food. Its 4-5 hours north of Montreal.
