We are leaving Saturday to do Circuit 37 with the extension into Dozois. We have paper maps, both the SEPAQ one plus a topo map for the extension. We will also carry a GPS with the route hand drawn in Basecamp in it. I find your Google map interesting and would use it to research future trips.

Sat view indicates plenty of beaches in the Dozois unofficial portion. Also, the two ports along the Camitogama river are not maintained. We'll bring a bucksaw for clearing if required. I'll send you a report if you want re: camping and portage conditions.

Have fun Hiker Neil!

Would love to hear more after your trip - and any comments on sites and/or routes that you would like to have included in my map would be greatly appreciated!

A friend told me that LaV now has more bookable sites - smaller ones not necessarily for groups.

Does anyone have details on this?

Are there new paper maps which have this information on them?

Exciting times!

My friend sent some pictures of his map and so my google map should be updated by the end of the weekend.

There are a couple of new campsites on circuits 10 and 11, and some other sides near Le Domaine have been converted to reservation only.

Some map updates yet again - most notable is that local Algonquins have claimed site 30-60 so it is now closed. 30-62 on the same small island is still available.
