I told you before, the email link is at the bottom of the home page!

Sorry yes you did and there it is! I don't have a very good track record right now for "attention to detail"

I did find his personal email on the domain registration though. If I don't get an answer on that I'll try the one at the bottom of the page.

Thanks for your help.

What are the triangles that have stuff in them like "GB", "4C", "4B", "2"

Triangles are campsites!

The first letter/number is the size (G = Group, 4 = 4 tents spaces), the second letter is the quality rating (A = fantastic, D = you might not want to camp there).

Like all ratings they are quite subjective and also subject to season variations. A site that rates a GB in mid-summer might be a beach site that is mostly under water in the Spring.

It's a good system as a general guide but it's only a general guide not an absolute.

Another code you will encounter is "EV" (eau vive) which indicates swifts or stretches of fast current.

OK thanks - that was my intuition but I looked everywhere and could not find a definition. And I had no idea what the numbers and letters meant.

What is a "planiol" within the context of a set of rapids?

R3 - 50m
planiol - 100m
R1-R2 - 200m
planiol - 50m
R1 - 200m

Google translate gives me the same word

That's not a common marking, I'd assume it describes the short distance between the three "drops" in that set, indicating calm water or pool.
