From this article:
https://www.ctvnews.ca/business/quebec- ... -1.4705504It appears that their attempt to sell the company and/or the assets failed so it's not looking good for an immediate replacement. There are some private operators such as Norpaq (Shefferville) and I know that one of the Air Saguenay Beavers (still carries it's original Labrador Air Safari markings) was sold a couple of years ago to the operator of Wedge Hills Lodge on the George River. There are a few other small operators attached to other lodges/outfitters in the Smallwood Reservoir, George River and Manic-5 areas.
No doubt some operators will take over servicing these areas previously served by Air Saguenay but the real question will be if they can offer external loads and of course how steep the increases in costs will be.
Bottom line is that flying paddlers is not a profitable business in most areas so even if other operators come in the odds that will be able to provide the same services are slim.
On the other hand the Air Saguenay bases may be attractive to somebody.
