Hey all,

there is a new bus service from Whitehorse to Dawson City and back this summer (end of April to early September) by van. It's called Husky Bus (http://www.huskybus.ca).

Looks like the prices are reasonable. They are doing drop offs for hiking and canoeing too. I hope they stay in business for a while.

Last year I hitchhiked from Dawson City to Burwash Landing after canoeing Kluane, Donjek, White and Yukon River. It worked out great, but it is good to know, that there is an alternative.

Have fun

Bert

yes, Thanks for the info - a Yukon R trip is on my radar for 2014 - I've been gathering info a bit at a time.

Husky Bus is up and running for 2013 and Jessie, the owner is awesome and very accommodating.
Having spent a couple years in Dawson City and Mayo- I highly recommend if you can get there to go visit the Yukon.
