A couple of positive developments for canoeists looking for air charters in the NWT this summer.

In Yellowknife, Open Water Charters, operating a Cessna 185 on straight floats, is advertising they now have authorization to carry external loads. Could be a good option for soloists or very light tandems.

In Ft. Smith, Loon Air plans to have a Cessna Caravan on amphibious floats, external load approved, operating this summer. Could be a nice addition to NWAL's two external load certified aircraft, a C185 and a turbine Otter.
