I am looking for a canoe partner to paddle from Gameti to Yellowknife from Aug 18 to Aug 31.

It's a stretch of lakes and a river where we would be doing a bunch of short portages and running short rapids.

I am paddling the Anderson River from July 4th to August 16th in a group of 4. I will be back in Yellowknife on Aug 16th.

I paddled from the Canol Road last year to Gameti so I want to do a bit more of that route - continue to Yellowknife; and next year keep going east.

I envy you people who are able to spend entire summers paddling.... I might be able to squeeze in a 5 day trip this year... I haven't even gotten the canoe in the water yet this spring.... already June's almost gone.

I might be. I fly out tomorrow for yellowknife and I'm starting paddling on the 4th. Figure I'll be back to Yellowknife around Aug 15. PM me and we'll see if we can work something out.
