Looking for possible participants in planned summer 2020 trip on Horton River. Trip will feature two possible segments, upper or lower, or the full river. July timeframe. Each segment about 12 days - 200 miles each...total trip 24 days. Beginner to intermediate skills w moderate rapids early on second segment.

How about 2022? I want to do the upper Horton at some point. Getting a little late to plan and budget for this year and my wife is already booking our vacation for summer 2021, so it's looking like 2022 would be the earliest I could plan for the Horton.

Right now, in my mid 70s and in good health, this is a bucket list trip for me. Who knows what two years might bring. Want to make it happen this year.

Makes sense. I want a chance to see some musk ox and figure the Horton is my best bet, just can't do it this year.
