HI David, is the Tha-anne suitable for travelling upstream? I am thinking about getting int Nueltin Lake.

I would answer no. Just no.

There are some sections of the Kognak that are doable that could include some of the Tha-Anne. Depends on resources and time.

Why would you want to paddle from Hudson Bay to Nueltin?

If it's possible to go up the Grand Canyon solo, any river can be navigated upstream. We chartered a plane into Kasmere Lake from Lynn Lake to get to the Tha-anne, and got picked up in a boat to shuttle to Arviat. That was a while ago now....
