Looking for an inexpensive way to mount your camera to your canoe? I've put together a little video showing how an ordinary utility clamp can be easily transformed into a versatile camera mounting system. Have a look:

Nice simple solution, and definitely cheaper than the Ram mount I use.

I do notice though, that you need to turn your bent shaft around at about 2:10. ;)

Great idea Wayne, simple and effective.

I also took notice that you mounted two bolts on the same clamp so that you have two different camera mounting options/locations on the same clamp.

I think canoeists love to problem solve and be creative.

At least it didn't fog your creative side, that is what I am really interested in. I blame my mother for my habit of pointing out silly little things like that. :D
