Here's a vid I found enjoyable, includes mountains, lakes, clouds and time-lapse photography. Looks great on my little monitor, probably pretty spectacular on a large screen.

The settings button in the lower right (sprocket symbol) can be used to increase resolution to 720.

Saw a Ford commercial last night that really brings home the point of new technology.
The quality camera options available to many (even 5 years ago did not exist )
on many different devices is amazing!.
In the commercial the happy couple is at an art gallery taking a pic with an Ipad type device, they then go out in the woods with their new car, take another pic and then the commercial finishes with them back in a gallery taking another pic of someone else's art work.
I have seen this happen in local art shows so I know it is very tough to stop.
But the hidden message is it is okay to do so... :-?

Same with the image from a smart tv, you don't get that pixalated looking photo when you freeze the screen and take a pic.

It does make it tough. The big players know i, with the laying off of the Sports Illustrated photo staff they know that they can get their pics for next to nothing and many post shots on websites to be used for nothing.

The only good thing we have going for us is you still have to be out there and wait for that great shot in the woods.

:(

We have a smart TV but only about 1 megabyte of internet speed. A ROKU box dumbs down the streaming so we avoid a lot of waiting for the picture to load. The apps are constantly being improved and the same for Youtube's app. I find it best to search for promising video on the computer and then add them to the watch later list. With the youtube app I can then easily look at them on the big screen from my youtube channel.
