Hello all, it's been a while since I've been around!

It's been pretty rainy lately, and this time of year we only have a few hours of darkness to work with, but we are still being treated to some pretty decent northern lights throughout the open water season.

Thanks all!

Mike, I was using a Nikon D750 with a Nikkor 20 f1.8.

Awesome set-up Low1...about as good as it gets for night shooting. I'm heading out tomorrow for a lengthy trip, and am bringing my D700, as well as the Nikkor 20 f1.8, among a few others. I ordered the lens in December and it finally came in at the end of April. I've had a chance to capture a few night shots with it on an early May Temagami trip, though this upcoming trip will really give it a workout.

Thanks Mike. Yeah I'm quite happy with it. It replaces (or rather augments) my trusty D7000 and tokina 11-16 (which replaced my D5000 and 18-55 kit lens lol). When I decided I was going to go full frame, I knew I needed an FX wide angle. I decided on the 20mm f1.8, and then found out it was back ordered everywhere. So I scoured the Internet and found a brand new in box one from Galaxy Camera on eBay! Pretty happy! Next purchase will likely be the 14-24, but I have to sell a few more prints first :). Next year :)
