I stuffed our tent one time on a trip, just to see how well it might reduce in packing size. it seemed to. It was alarming how wrinkled it was setting it up at the next site, but they soon eased out of the fabric once it was all taut and felt some sun. It's funny how habits are hard to break. I just automatically fold neatly. Same with tarps. Never tried rolling. Makes sense given the stuff sack is somewhat cylindrical. I do roll my clothing for travelling. It's supposed to reduce wrinkles.
I fold & roll tents, not always the same fold before rolling, and stuff tarps.
I am not sure stuffing is good for frail tent zipper longevity; I know the dimensions of the tent bag or Taco sack and aim for a wee bit under that size. With a strategic fold and roll put away I can have all of the tent body corners in one place, and the pieces I want rolled in sequential set up order; ground cloth or footprint, stakes, tent body, poles, tent fly and etc.

Sleeping bags disappear into comp sacks when stuffed.
I do appreciate good compression stuff sacks, especially for off season sleeping bags. I think those beefier S-bag zippers are built to handle stuffing.
And, screw the wrinkles, this ain’t no fashion show, for my fleece and down and wool clothing, most of which is zipper free, another compression bag.
Compression stuff sacks make a volumetric difference in packing a dry bag.
