Has anyone seen any Eddie Bauer down blankets @ costco this year?

No, not yet, but I picked up a 4 pack of 80+% merino wool outdoor socks for $14 two days ago.

I've switched to the Sail branded socks for $20 for 2 pair. More expensive but still reasonably priced, and a far superior sock.

The stores love to have signs that say WOOL socks, then flip the pack over look in the 4 point font and find the wool is about 4th on the list down around 20% or so. Slippery devils.

I've rejected a lot of wool products for that very reason. I just dug the label for those socks out of the waste bin, and my recollection of 80% was inflated. The actual content is 72% merino wool, 27% nylon, 1% spandex ... still pretty high merino count, and I find them quite comfortable.

I've worn only wool dress socks daily for the past 25 yrs, but having trouble these days finding replacements at a reasonable price as the old ones are wearing out.

Anyway, back to the regularly scheduled down blanket conversation, lol.
