Great deal on a paddle if you can find one in stock somewhere. I got the last 2 in my local store. Looks like this year they changed the design slightly so they are selling off previous stock half price. Easiest way to do it is order online for pick up in store - then you get an email when your order is ready to pick up. I just got back from an evening paddle using one and I like it.

Looks like the same one Cabela's puts their name on and sells for substantially more. I did confirm in store at Cabela's that they are made by the same company. So even the regular price at Canadian Tire seems to be a good price.

There is the newer model at Canadian Tire

thank you for posting this - Picked up the last one a a local store. Mine is a little thick and the handle is not symmetrical, however it will do nicely for an extra.

Yes I meant to post after using mine that they are a little on the heavy side - neither of mine seems to not be symmetrical though. I've been using it as my primary paddle and been loving it.

Blade size looks small, or is it just the angle of the photo on their website?

Blade is actually a fair bit bigger than most beaver tails which is what I like about it and what makes it worth the extra weight. It is a bit on the heavy side. Had it out today and loved it.

I'd say the blade is a little wider and less long from the other beavertails I've had and used. Hope to try it tomorrow if the wind (and rain) gives us a bit of a break. I wanted a 60" to determine the best length for me - I feel like Goldie-locks.. I have one I carved that is just a bit too long... my wife's paddle is too short...so I'm looking in between at 60" (which this is) or 62-63".
