Absolutely love them - I have about 6 in various sizes including kids size, and double. Hands down the most comfortable thing I've ever slept on in the woods and that includes those gigantic coleman mattresses.

Oh and the regular sized one for adults is relatively small and light. Even the "fat boy" wider adult one is not much bigger.

I have a double which fills my 2-man Tarptent fabulously. I don't have much to go on, as before I was using a Thermarest guide series - it's miles more comfortable (and warm - I have the insulated version).

I tried these at Sail and found the SeaToSummit ones more comfy.

Thx for the comments. A bit confusing with so many models avail from klymit. I think I have them figured out except (a)the V compared to the V2---cannot see any diff and (b) the models they call 'Recon'. It's hard to imagine that meaning 'reconditioned' but it's not apparent what the diff is.

Too bad they only seem to available online. I'd like to see a couple of models in person to get a better feel (no pun intended) for what they'd be like to sleep on, and how they pack up for transport.

Hard to differemtiate one model from another just from the web page.

I'd alsdo be curious to know if they can be inflated without using a pump, as I find pumps generally tend to be larger and more unweildy than I care to be carrying around.

I believe the difference between the V and the V2 models is a couple of ounces. The V2 is a tiny bit lighter because the upper surface (i.e. the side that one's body lies upon) is made of lighter, less durable material while the bottom surface (the side that has contact with the ground) continues to be made of the more durable material that is used on both sides of the V mattress.

I may have to drive out there and take a look.

I've never been a big fan of Sail but confirmed on a recent visit to MEC that Sail is now certainly equal if not better unless you want bike stuff or "fashion" items. MEC still makes some good gear but the selection is pretty poor these days and the prices are just ok.

My plan is to order online from Atmosphere. They allow returns at their stores and there are quite a few of those around. At least I will get to see it and, I hope, try lying on it and be able to return it if I don't like it.

I did get a look at them at Atmosphere. Can't see them lasting as long as Thermarest pads. Material looked and felt quite flimsy. I wouldn't buy one.

Wotrock, I saw it somewhere on line, maybe on a youtube review, for whatever that might be worth. I bought a V2 on sale while in the US this winter at the same time as I bought an insulated ultralite NEMO mattress. I've slept about 18 days so far on the Nemo, but haven't yet even as much as unrolled the Klymit. I bought both mattresses as replacements for the disastrous "Windcatcher " air mattresses that didn't last me 2 seasons and that I wrote about on another thread somewhere on here. I find that endorsements and enthusiastic reviews of products are usually premature, a wishful thinker's antidote to buyer's remorse. Ask me how the Nemo or the Klymit performed after 5 years of heavy use, and if I'm still coherent at that time, I'll cheerfully respond. Um, er, sorry, what was your question again?
