Could anyone suggest a decent pair of snow boots under $50 just for shoveling snow at my house? I usually just wear old steel toe boots, but I slip around a lot.
Thanks a lot.

Kamik insulated rubber boots, reg $65, on sale starting Friday Oct 18, $39... the green ones I've bought in the past had the soft rubber sole that provided good grip on ice, like softer-tread snow tires. The black boots I haven't tried, might be different.

Walking through deep snow, the drawstring collar helps keep snow out and feet stay dry. They are a bit heavy for distance walking and the soft rubber sole wears out on pavement.

Canadian Tire boots often sell out quickly, so ordering online Friday morning with in-store pickup might be a plan. ... p.html#spc ... p.html#spc

I have the a pair of the Kamik and Baffin shown by frozentripper and Stencil above, they both are great boots for crappy weather around the house or short day hikes on muddy trails. I also use them for ice fishing. I have had no issues standing on ice up to -40c
