Good decision IMO. A few extra scratches that the kids might put on a used Kevlar dragging over rock won't matter too much IMO. Nobody sees the scratches on the bottom anyway. If they have a mishap and do more serious damage you could do a reasonable fix with a fiberglass kit from CTC....and 'lesson learned' for you and the kids. Have fun choosing and paddling. :thumbup:
