If you're still looking, try a Nova Craft Cronje.

Hi Dirk, just wanted to say thanks for all the write-ups on this website on the Quetico 15. I found one on Kijiji near Kingston earlier this month and ended up going with it. Thanks in good part to all of your info as there is little to be found online about this beautiful boat! After 2 trips and some solo day paddling I am already in love.

I can echo the Winter's quote from above, when the boat is fairly loaded (quite sure I am overloading it with 2 people, dog + gear) it doesn't feel fast, but seems to result in some serious miles covered!

I'll post some photos when I get a chance

Thanks for the feedback and good luck with the Quetico 15'. I hope it will serve you well.

Some time ago I paddled with friends when they were trying a Quetico against their Mattawa: turns out when going against a strong headwind I had to work harder (in my Osprey) to keep up with them when they were in the Quetico than in their Mattawa...

We love our kevlar carbon fusion swift Chico. It can handle wind, waves (been out in 2-3' recently- not by choice, but it handled well. 42 lb I think, but doesn't feel it.
