For Sale: Bell Mystic - Black and Gold layup (Carbon/Kevlar)

$1000.00 CDN
Location: Toronto, Ontario

Length: 18.5’
Max Width: 33”
4” waterline width:30”
Weight: 53lbs

Fast narrow canoe. Lots of space. See photos: https://photos.app.goo.gl/k7iWXy868sHtN9Zf7

In photo with Jensen J-190 it’s easy to see how narrow this canoe is. I bought it to paddle ‘solo’ with my 3 kids while my wife paddled her solo. My kids are grown up now.

Original gunwales/decks replaced with Swift aluminum gunwales/decks.

One deck is damaged due to chainsaw near miss caused by a tree near miss - see photos.

One seat has a hole in the cane. I recommend refitting this canoe with sliding bucket seats and foot brace - you can get them through https://westerncanoekayak.com/ search for bucket seat or tractor seat. My wife wanted to keep the cane seat/ kneeling position.

Crack in clear coat repaired with clear coat repair kit - see photos.

I keep coming back just to look.
Trying to figure out a way to get this in our boat shed. 8)

If you don't sell this would you be interested in storing it at our house? Free storage of course.
I'll provide it with it's own storage shed. Upside down during winter and right side up during paddling season.
I'll wash and love her like she's our own.
I can arrange pick up and (sigh) return drop off. (if needed!)

I have a brother that lives in Toronto so this is just killing me.

Anyways... just a thought. :D

I totally hear ya! I'm only a little over an hour away and I keep checking on it as well. I picked up a solo last week and the funds are just a bit to shy to pick this one up as well.

Now up on Kijiji -- it'll be gone in an hour :-)

I gave this one some serious thought too, but the narrowness threw me off. More used to the prospector shape.

Me too! Our last (current) boat was wide but takes on crazy water in bigger waves, so not sure I should have been - but feels like narrow would be inherently tippy.

Haha thanks. It's got great lines. I like to look at it too.
