Like the title says, looking for:

15’ Tandem Swift Prospector in Kevlar or carbon

Marmot Ultralight 2P Fortress

Neither are dire needs so I’m keeping my eyes open on the used market

Any particular reason for that specific tent?

I was able to find a barely used Marmot Sanctum on eBay, I set up a saved search with notification. It was a fairly long wait, first one that came up was absolutely new/unused but went for more than I was willing to pay. A year later another barely used came up which I snagged. This purchase was to replace the Sanctum I bought 14 years ago and is now in fairly "sad" condition (still functional).

Personally I'm not a fan of their newer (last 10 years) tents nor any of the UL versions but I do understand that in some circumstances weight is imports (it isn't for me, within reason). The older models had VERY good construction and materials.

I love their tents - own a 2P Superalloy and a 3p UL Tungsten

Call me a grumpy ol man but it grinds my gears that a company has the nerve in 2023 to call a 5lb 2 person tent "UL" it's very definitely not.

It’s called UL because it is considered light as a 3/4 person tent. I have a lighter tent (Marmot Superalloy) but it is mostly mesh. This is for when I don’t want mesh. Do you have another suggestion that is lighter with this functionality? I looked at a lot of options and this was the best thing I found - I imagine next year I will be able to buy it new on sale if I don’t find it used.

Is the Fortress a new name for a previous model? If so maybe you could find the previous model used or deeply discounted.
For instance, I have the Marmot Force, which looks very similar to the Superalloy.

The UL Fortress specs at "Minimum Trail Weight 4 lbs. 3.5 oz."

https://www.rei.com/product/186999/marm ... ul-2p-tent

The regular version is "Minimum Weight: 5 lbs 7.8 oz"

Just an FYI - The UL which doesn't seem to be available from Marmot can be had for US$459 at Campsaver, 20% off is you sign up to their spam list (which you can cancel the next day if you want). Don't know if this is a good price or not.

If weight is a major concern the tarptent cloudburst 3 would be an option
https://www.tarptent.com/product/cloudburst-3/#tab-id-2
just over 2lbs.

Also Hyperlite Mountain Gear's tents get strong review from people who camp in severe weather (above the tree line)

Their 4p 4 season tent is a mere 22 oz (but a little spendy) (and worthy of the UL label)
https://www.hyperlitemountaingear.com/p ... ramid-tent

I'm a big ban of Zpacks tents - but not sure that they would be considered 4 season.
