In defense of technology....it was the Blackberry that kept us up to speed last year at Killarney in regards to the Budd Car...

I love camping! I have backpacked the grand canyon, done the killarney trail in 2 nights, been to 7 DF`s. But I really enjoy snowmobiling so why not combine the 2? Now my wife can enjoy even more adventures with me! We had such a great time.... it is not the same as DF or snowmobiling it is something new and different! and I plan on spending as much time as I can in the outdoors no matter how I do it..

P.S on the electonics i have a 12 year old daughter and a 6 year old son I bring with me..... its not xbox or PS3 but a few movies and charge my sat phone i figure why not......

What ever it takes, enjoy the outdoors. Exactly my point. It has been a real learning experience watching you bring technology into the back country. I can bore you to sleep with my story of changes from my first over night camp out in July 1949. It is a great safety net to having 2 Satphones and know that they work. You have to be doing something right if your wife will join you and Mackenzie. . Will a 6 year old be the youngest camper at a Deep Freeze?
See you at the station

I will do what ever it take to get my family to come with me on my adventures! even if it means a dvd player ! I love the outdoors and I get out as much as I can. Ask Jim and dusan we do many many adventures together!! all in all this is a new day in age and unfortunitly electronics of some sort have made their way out with us( sat phone for ex.)
