Besides the geese, when the Stellar Jays come around that's a big sign that things are changing. But something isn't happening that always happens. The squirrels have not been busy with the tree cones yet. Has me curious. It could mean that there will be a mild winter or low snowfall winter. I'll know when it ends (-;

Geese seen flying south today, helped along with north winds. Sugar maples have also changed color faster during the last several days.

Paddled in snow fall yesterday. Rained on and off, with the occasional snow flurry. Geese were flying well after dark, could still here them honking up above around 10:00 PM.

Oh yea baby. 17 degrees here, nice for a lowland hike. Thirty two miles away and a mile up its winter. Its snowing winds 100 kph and temp a little below 0.

Gotta get up for a good pic I hope in the morning!

Here in Ontario, I had to tell one last week to cease and desist while I tried to pack up my tent under his selected tree.
