Went in today and the parking lot is freshly ploughed . The trail in is packed and I walked in without snow shoes on . I cut the dead trees that might be a problem in high winds within falling distance of the tent pads . Dug out for our hot tent and set it up . The trapper came by and had a very good chat with him . There is 2 tents and 2 campers came in this afternoon and set up.1 hot tent and 1 cold tent . They are camped there now . See you all during the up coming week . scouter Joe

Had a fantastic week of winter camping . The weather was very good for the entire week with the lowest temp of -22 and the highest just above freezing . There was very little slush on the lakes and hiking /showshoeing conditions were ideal . Pot luck night was a big success . There was a total of 35 campers this year . Thanks to all who participated and made this year such a special occasion . scouter Joe

We made it home fine, Scott, Mike, and Moe. Great time, great friendships renewed and new ones made.

Want to thank all those who made things happen, especially Scouter Joe for his work in making this annual event a big success.

cheers

We had a great time with all those who attended this year. Thanks to Joe and Marc for the chainsaw time. I had fun! Even caught a fish this year! Haha! Like Joe says temperature was great and the days out there had sun and fun. Until we meet again.

Kevin , you’re out and Mikey’s in! Just saying..... ( although it’s not my tent to say......) ;)

I missed you all. Read your weather everyday. Grenada was just ok. I much prefer white snow to to white sand , water I can walk on to salt water. I am working to return for 2020.
Stay safe
Dave
