What can I expect to catch below Hell's Gate Canyon and on past Bell's Bay? What lures would be recommended? Can fish be caught in the estuary below Moose River Crossing?

I think, my friend Vince and I on solo canoes just passed by when you put it on the string? I haven't seen so many large bass jumping than on whole Miss. But Northern Pike is also plentiful.

Could be. That's not me in the picture. I was up on the shoreline wondering what all the hollering was about. We were on the river from the 19 - 31 Aug '00.

Did you see any Sturgeon? One passed just under my boat on the Moose. Friggin huge it was. At least 4 ft long, with knobbly bits along it's back.
