RAPALA RAPALA RAPALA RAPALA RAPALA RAPALA RAPALA RAPALA RAPALA RAPALA RAPALA RAPALA RAPALA RAPALA RAPALA RAPALA RAPALA RAPALA

Gold/Black RAPALA floating minnow is sizes to match your quarry, have proven themselves on EVERY species of fish I've tried, from fresh to salt, from lakers, pike and bass to gar and jacks. 2nd are the Black/Silver floaters. They also have the virtue of not sinking to bottom and getting snagged when you slow to help your partner who has hooked a fish on his rapala.

The small suspending ones are nice too. I'm planning to try their new "long cast" minnow this summer, and I'll report their success.

As a second, for trout at least, I'd take a perch Cleo spoon, and for bass/pike/walleye a scented plastic jig on the lightest jighead you can get away with given water conditions.

I understand dynamite works well, but until they sell it at the tackle shop, my Rapala is the next best thing. Don't leave home without them.

Sorry, this was intended to be a reply to the Favorite Lure thread. Oops.
