Anybody know when the smelts should start to run at Lake Simcoe? I am in the Port Bolster area near Beaverton. Was wondering if anybody knows where there would be some good creeks where they would be running?

thanks

Jeremy

Jeremy,
You should try posting on http://www.fishinglakesimcoe.com
They have a message board frequented by many keen lake simcoe fishers. At this point it sounds like there has still been too much ice for any smelt action

THanks a lot!

I have actually been to that site before. Never realized that it had a message board though.
