Hey pat. If your fully loaded with gear and you aim right you can pop (slog) into eddies with the inertia and a static stroke alone. Although hull tilt and angle are super important. Sometimes I even go into eddies slower than the current to prevent rock bashing. Granted, these occasions are rare. |
