I've built one of these and it was a fun little boat. Wouldn't head down the Nahanni in it but it would work for "posin' in the flotilla" and you could single blade it if desired.

The one I made had a larger cockpit (almost open ie: "canoe like"), paddled well (slightly heeled) with a single blade (canoe paddle) and was faster than my 16' canoe when I used a double blade in the MC.

A more "rounded" "canoe like" version would be.....

She wants two piece Finnish plywood boat. Nothing to it, S, Pull out the old scale rule and scissors. Try cutting up some cardboard and taping the model together. See what you can do. Why not have all the glory for yourself. No need to share it with churlish old male designer.

Still wants a keel and outrigger. Go for it. Will it spin?

S has made progress. She has GROOOWWWWN.

Unfortunately, she seems to have lost her head but can she fly?
