Yes,

If you have time I'd like to learn about vacume infusion. I've got all the epoxy, Kevlar, and Sglass together for my boat. I've got a male mold paritally built. I'm leaning towards a hand layup, but all this talk about bagging and infusion has goe me interested... I know that the result can be lighter with equal strength.

A few precursors - are you planning on building any kind of flange on your mold? If so, your life will be easier if it is at least 6" -8" wide. Do you have a decent vacuum source? (By decent I mean pulling at least 26"Hg.) What epoxy are you planning on using? What fabric styles of Kevlar and S-glass?

These will all figure into how easily it will go for you if you decide to infuse.

Sorry that wasn't meant to be discouraging. It would just help tailor an explanation if I had a little info about what you were working with. Vacuum bagging, at least, is not really that difficult. Infusion requires a little more setup in some ways, but is technically no more difficult.

How is your male mold built?
