It would be much more fun to take the canoe to the auto parts store!

If you cant find a close match an alternative is to choose a contrasting paint..you could change the blot to a heart, or a leaf, or a raindrop or a snowflake...or a ladybug...

Or in you case Thomas the Train or Blue etc.

lol - too funny - I don't care if it matches that much - it's on the bottom

I love the look of the Swifts with the white bottom section - very sharp and hide the scratches. You could always go Bi - colour. Or hey, about make -up OAC stickers and just use them.

Just for clarification, Automotive Paint will work/seal fine?

I was thinking of repainting my folks boat as a nice gesture, there isn't much damage, just scratches.

What method do you guys use for painting? Spraybomb? brush? Compressor and sprayer?

I see you are buried in answers, and i have none either but interested in it.
So automotive paint??

On a slightly different tact, if price wasn't the biggest issue what would be the strongest , lightest and smoothest finish to put over a gelcoat as a second skin, after repair or before they are even needed?
