I think the Sea-1 is an interesting craft, and certainly would be less difficult to acquire. I was thinking about something a little bigger. Maybe someday a Sea-2 will be built, with greater stability, comfort, and cargo capacity. I'm sure the Sea-1 has large servings of each, but not likely comparable to a big tandem.

I have been considering finding a decent tandem sea kayak, rasing the seats an inch or two, and paddling it with single blades. Again, though, I would be willing to trade speed for stability and cargo capacity.

Thanks for all the helpful suggestions. It is cold here, and I am just toying with ideas.
