I love black when its combined with gold leaf trim I know of someone who had his grandfathers Rushton Indian Girl restored..black with wonderful gold details and a thousand bucks in gold leaf(hmm maybe not appropriate for tripping?)...Old Town had some wild patterns back in the sixties and when its time to reskin one of the boring red canoes it will be one of those patterns even though they arent Old Town canoes.

Especially rich is an aubergine color..on the right canoe it is stunning...
