I've picked up an old Blue Hole canoe for cheap. I need to put seats in and thought about making my own using the design that my Novacraft boat has. I also need to put cages in for airbags, at least at the ends. I've used 3mm climbing accessory cord in the past for my airbags... but I think I want something more like 2mm accessory cord for the weave of the seats.

Would 2mm cord work for seats? And airbag cages - especially if I put more cord in?

I suppose I could always order both 2mm and 3mm cord, but thought about just getting a whole spool of 2mm cord...
