The University of British Columbia is about to tear down one of only two tow test tank research facilities in Canada, to build housing on the site. Such tanks are used to research hull forms.

And once again we see the effects of greed for Gov't funding take over the original motivation of higher education to pursue knowledge...

They'd rather get a few more students in so they can get more $ for them than to have the facilities to test hulls...
