 Post subject: My cedar stripper build

Thought I'd post this for anyone in the process or interested in building a cedar strip canoe. I tried to make it a as step by step as possible but it certainly shouldn't be your only reference for building.

BTW - the canoe turned out great, I mean that it handles well, is very stable, and perfect for the backcountry lakes I take it on. My next step is to use the stations and make up a kevlar canoe.

Good job Steve! I think you said in your blog that this was your first time buildling a stripped canoe, turned out really great!

I really like the darker strips on top and in the middle of the canoe. Also did a good job forming that yoke, looks real good!

I do have to admit that it is the gift that keeps on giving, it's enjoyable each time I get to put it in the water or answer a question about it. Looking forward to building another one....just need to find the time.
