Just wondering if anyone recognizes this beefy little design?
It has quite a bit of rocker and is wide as hell.

It's 12' (11' 10 1//2"), has a 39" beam, and is 13 1/2" deep.
As is, it weighs 43lbs and robertson screws are used. (Canadian?)

Any help with an ID would be great.
(Please don't advise me to look somewhere else as I'm asking here and it's not a big deal if you don't know) 8)

Thanks,
Ted

FWIW, just going by the deck plates and center thwart it reminds me of a Faber canoe although the seats are quite different. The Robertson screws could be part of an earlier restoration maybe? In your pictures they seem to be stainless steel.

Yup, stainless robbies for the stem guards on the outside and also holding the keel on from the inside.
Brass ones for the seats.

Looks like a Bastien Bros Trapper Canoe.. 12 feet out of Quebec. The Canadian Canoe Museum has one.

Awesome! That's exactly what it looks like.
