Two of us seek to fill out a two-canoe crew for the Dubawnt River, starting around July 10, 2023. The trip is roughly 620 miles from Wholdai Lake to Baker Lake. The route is mostly above treeline and is about 50/50 lake and boisterous river. We plan to cover this in a comfortable 46-ish days. We are two 65 year old retired biologists (Mason from Bozeman MT and John from SLC, UT) with experience in barren lands travel.
