I am looking for a copy of...

Jewel of Ontario: The Petawawa River
Author: George Drought
Publisher: Wilderness Bound Video Productions

Their website www.wildernessbound.com is no longer running. If anyone has a copy for sale, or knows where to purchase a copy (store or online), I would be very interested.

Thanks,

L

Splake may have made some copies. The WCA (Wilderness Canoe Association) may also have something.

I am talking to the folks at Wilderness Bound and they are interested in getting a DVD version. With busy schedules it could easily be the end of summer before something is available and of course they need to be happy with the quality, but I feeling optimistic about it.

I now have a version converted to CD and permission to send copies to folks. If you are interested in a copy let me know.

Just wondering about the coverage.
DVD/CD deals only with the reach below Cedar Lake?
Thanks.

Hi Allan,

I'm several years late in seeing your question. The video covers the whole river from the headwaters to at least McManus.

For anyone who is interested, I have finally posted a copy of the video on YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WCRgHEioI5o

They managed to misspell Les Stroud's name!
