Here we go. Signs that the end of the canoe season are all around. Yesterday I couldn't go because the lake I went to was a solid sheet of ice. I did, however, get footage a week ago. It's a windy day trip out to an island on Waskesiu Lake, Saskatchewan. No music this time; nothing I could find fit.

I find they're actually the more enjoyable part of the filming now. Shots from inside the canoe are so limited that in editing it's boring to review. Tumblehome has a way of making those interesting that I will one day figure out (plus he shows a few of his tricks in his most recent video). Thanks for checking it out!

You hit on something close to a personal interest of mine: The weather. It's so different some years. I find upper Ontario is usually pretty close to us in seasonal change, and lower Ontario is a bit later. BC(minus the coast in most years) and Alberta are usually ahead of us in snowfall and certainly severity of that snowfall. Later we just get cold here with gray weather and fair snow levels while places like Calgary, Edmonton, Ottawa, Montreal, and the Maritimes get the bigger winter storms. The snow we had here recently has mostly melted and temps are forecast to be around +10C early next week before going back to daily highs of around -6C.
