Paddle around and out of Doupe Bay
2 mornings in September 2021
8 hours of paddling in 15 minutes.
Not my personal canoe this time.
1 quiet piece of music scouting a Portage. All natural sounds the rest of the video.

Another relaxing vid, enjoyable to watch and hear the stillness and quiet. The aluminum canoe is noisier than in the earlier paddles, still, very nice on the water.

Took a look at the previous vid on your channel on the cancelled canoe trip with the water bombers making a racket flying to the fire off in the distance... and some of the forest being driven through was smoking although not in flame, does seem dangerous.

Well, thanks for checking them both out. You're one of the few regular viewers I have. I appreciate it!

I didn't post that previous video around as it's what I'd consider a filler video. The forest fire part is interesting, but the canoeing section has problems. The water lapping up against the underside of the unballasted hull with that external microphone made for a pretty annoying drumming sound throughout. I also stumbled on a pretty visually insignificant area of the North Saskatchewan river. It does have one unique scene though. So if it's my videos you want to see, it's, at the very least, another entry.

GRS,
Thanks for posting. Really well done video. I like the paddle by shots that you do and I really enjoyed your encounter with the otters.
Your videos really help in the hard water season.
