What are the differences between Wilderness R. of Manitoba, and Wilderness Manitoba: Land Where the Spirt Lives?

The one about rivers is descriptions of river routes with portage info etc. the other one , I think is a photo essay about Manitoba wilderness.

I'm not absolutely sure, but I think it is the same book with a different cover.

They look like two completely different books. Descriptions are different, too.

I have both, Otter Mel is correct, Land Where the Spirit Lives is a coffee table type photo book, no route info.

Journey is the one with maps and trip info.

Has any one read his book "The Cabin"?

Doug,
I have read, The Cabin, an autobiography of that time in his life.

"One can never have too many books to inspire the next canoe trip, can they Cheryl?", I say as I am now just culling the bookcase of unused/unwanted books.

And who the heck gave me this book called, "Sensual Yoga for Couples", anyway? :o :-? :D

And after all that, I just found the paddling routes for Manitoba (by Hap and Stephanie) on our overcrowded book shelf. I did not find "Sensual Yoga" however... :D

That's probably because you stopped searching the bookshelf once you found the canoe routes book.

Priorities, eh?
