In praise of boots.

After a long rainy spring, the Yukon receded to exhibit a number of channelling opportunities.

Some forays resulted in no water...but with other rewards..ie bear and moose sightings.


And yes even on a big river sometimes that sixth sense goes awry..for us usually the first departing channel is the correct one...

But not always.. 8)
