Only cost is $10. per vehicle for parking. We give a gift to the Trapper for snow plowing the lot.

A Prep the site weekend is October 22 and 23. Lots of little jobs to do.
Join Scouter Joe and I. Bring an Axe, saw, shovel or rake. Maybe a little something to share at the camp fire.
Very successful weekend. 9 DFers. Made a few new sites and cleaned up all the others. Salvaged a lot of wood. Joe gave his chain saw a good work out.

Thanks for posting this Dave . Yes we are planning on an overnight camp out to do some campsite improvements . Carol and I walked in and things are pretty much as we left them last February . There is some cleaning up to do such as left over firewood at quite a few of the tent pads and some of the old dead fall . we may also make a couple more tent pads .
So if you'd like to come out for fall camp out and share a bond fire and swap a few tales come on out and join us . If you have any questions please ask or send me a private message . scouter Joe

I cannot make it that weekend, but I will be there in February. Ivana too. She has already started bugging me about that trip. Mike is coming too and probably another friend of mine.

Had a wonderful weekend at our winter camping location with 8 great friends . We did quite a bit of cleanup . Mainly old blow downs from around the campsite . Also made a few trails between tent sites and piled up the left over fire wood from last winter . We established 3 more tent sites as well which brings it up to 15 . Thanks to the helping hands and the good work they did we had lots of time to sit around the fire and share some stories . The weather was perfect for what we came to do and I really enjoyed the week end . So thanks again . Our winter camping location is much improved for this coming Feb. . Hope to see all our old camping friends and some new ones as well . scouter Joe
