I had only planned on a short paddle to Kaleden along the West shoreline of Skaha Lake but continued on to Okanagan Falls then back along the East shoreline back to Penticton. Which ended up a Circumnavigate of the lake again. The new Webbed Paddles sure made a difference for the trip. Last season my paddle time was about 7 hours this time my time was 4.5 hours. Quite a difference. Mind you we did hit a bit of a headwind coming back last time, but even still ended up quite a bit faster paddle time. Hope you enjoy the video and please post your comments I enjoy reading them.

I really enjoyed watching your video - it is beautiful scenery around Skaha Lake, much less built-up than I imagined & a lot of variety.

I am especially intrigued by your camera & tech set-up!! :) Have you got your camera set on plexiglass with suction cups? (That's what it looks like in the video). And do you have 2 cameras set up...or is it just one that takes movies from both sides?

I now "need" to try out the new webbed paddles also.

And I actually burst out laughing when you pulled out the sail! And inevitably had to collapse it a few minutes later.

Thanks for a very enjoyable movie that gives us glimpses of paddling in the Okanagan!

LOL glad u enjoyed the vid. I have the camera on the bow normally on Timelaps. The camera near the cockpit is on a sheet of plexiglass and I used 3M waterresistant tape. The suction on the cam mount didn't do so well on the yak itself. The plexiglass also has room for my GPS. Sometimes the sail takes me at a good clip LOL.
