We paddled from Larder Lake to Blanche River. What an amazing trip!!! The route is well maintained from Larder Lake to Fourth Falls, suitable for all skill levels as every rapid has a well maintained portage. Most will only paddle to Windego, but if you love waterfalls and are proficient in whitewater and lining skills, you're missing out on a lot by skipping the lower stretch to the Blanche River. Portages below Fourth Falls start to get rough and are swallowed up by the bush. Teddy's Falls is particularly difficult as you have to bushwhack and then rope the canoes down 3 stories of sandy cliffs. There is no easy portage line here. Most of the falls can be portaged over the rocks or lined with caution.
We ran every rapid except for the upper portions of both Court and Teddy Falls.
Flat Rapids leading into Skead can be run. It's CII, CIII chute, CII.
