Anyone been down the Petawawa recently? We're doing this trip next week (Sept 8-11) and just wondering if the levels were still decent.

I was down the river August 19-21 and the water was at 2.33 meters, its now at 2.43 meters so its gone up 10cms.

We ran everything but Crooked Chute (but we saw other people doing it so if you know what your doing it could be runnable), and one part of the Upper Natch just because there were 2 must make moves. The rest was runnable, but we scraped A LOT of rocks. I think that your water levels will be low but still definately runnable. With an extra 10 cms all the rocks we got stuck on shouldn't be a problem for you (there we some shollow spots in Schooner and Five mile that required us to hop out for a few steps).

It was the first time we ran the river and purposely did it in low water so it was easier, if your looking for the same the water levels will be good.

Have fun!
